My Epic Journey
It has truly been an epic journey. I started life with a tumor in the right hemisphere of my brain but God took care of it and, after surgery, I was tumor free. My testimony shows how blessed I have been to be raised by Godly parents who taught me right from wrong. I gave myself to Christ when I was five years old. All through my life I went to Sunday school and youth group and had a blast.
However, it was in high school that I really started to do something with my faith. I started attending Chain of Lakes community Bible Church in 2004. My appreciation of their high school program was what first drew me into youth ministry. Ever since 2004 my passion for the youth has grown immensely through Bible study, guys nights, worship, skits and dramas, video editing, and mentoring high school guys to take ownership of their faith and reach out to their generation for Christ.
My testimony may be simple but I am being molded into the man that Christ calls me to be.
Interested in Christ?
So you're interested in finding out more about what it means to be Christian. Well, it's pretty simple. We are all sinners and we've all messed up in some way or fashion. However, if that was the end there would be no hope and no purpose to life. The good side is that we have hope in a God who, through the form of Jesus Christ, came to this earth to give us a gift of eternal life by giving his own life on the cross and rising three days later. And here's a simple part of it, all you have to do is confess that you’re a sinner and surrender total control over to God so that he may orchestrate your life perfectly. The second part is still pretty simple however it may not be as easy to accomplish without accountability: If you're in sin just turn a 180.We call this repentance. It's when you are doing something bad and you choose to do the total opposite, even if it goes against what you have been brought up believing. Now when it comes to the Bible a good place to start is the book of John. There you will see exactly what Jesus did for us and why it's important that we stay true to his teachings. The next thing you need is to find a good community of people that you can rely on to keep you accountable. When you walk with Christ it is not an easy walk. However it is easy to give up if you feel alone in it. Here's my e-mail address so that if you have any questions I can answer them promptly. Know that this path may be a tough one but it's the most rewarding path a human being can ever take. If you believe what I say then will you pray with me?
Let's pray “Dear Jesus, help us to know you more and seek out your face. We don't know what you have in …’s life but we know that you orchestrate all things to those who love you as it says in Romans. Be with us as we go through this journey and provide the people necessary to help us grow in our walk in Jesus name, Amen
