ABOUT CHAD
Back in 2005 I committed my life to full-time ministry. Upon doing that I joined the church's youth group as a small group leader. I then made videos and lead a small group of guys’ until their senior year of high school, at which point I took on a new set of guys sixth-grade to now senior year of high school. I had guys’ nights where we would come together in fellowship and talk about Christ in their lives. I also made promo and recap videos for this particular youth group.
At that same time I was in our college ministry making the videos and hanging out with my fellow group members.
In the fall of 2007, I entered Moody Bible Institute. I joined the men's collegiate choir and went on to spread the gospel through music with about 40 other guys. We went to St Louis area as well as LA and Arizona.
2008
I filmed a habitat for humanity video of my college age group building framing for a house. I enjoyed my time with them.
2009 and 2010
In the spring of 2009 and 10 I did a spring break trip to go minister with the Choctaw Nation in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. I lead the worship, hung out and encouraged the kids and made a recap video. Our group was also in charge of a weekend long camp.
I also was a Videographer for the Big Brother Big Sister retreats from 2009 to 2011. I was in charge of making the recap video and encouraging the kids.
June-July 2009 I had my first internship in Northern Ireland where I helped lead a group of kids on a missions trip to the UK. I was in charge of a discipleship group and doing the worship. I also was in charge of making the recap video.
I wrote a musical in 2010 and produced it for my whole school. I organized the people to put the musical on film. I wrote all the music, directed and wrote the script.
That year, I also graduated from Moody Bible Institute and went on my second internship to a summer camp for the mentally and physically disabled where my coworkers and I were in charge of the whole group of companions with their campers. I also led the music and encouraged everyone to worship passionately for Christ.
2011
One of my friends and I came up with a nonprofit organization where we match people with needs with those who are willing to volunteer. This was a website based ministry called Just Giving to Give. For example one of the biggest needs was getting computers into family’s hands so they could do computer work or for their kids to play on.
2012
I finished my third internship working at Disney World where I was a musical busser who entertained children and helped guests with their food and clearing their table. It was a great experience. The guests told me how much they appreciated my enthusiasm for life and how they could see Christ in my personality.
2013
It was an adventurous year. I went to Florida for missionary training with an organization called Campus Crusade for Christ. and learned how to raise support. I gained the boldness I needed to ask for help from the body of Christ. In March and April of that same year I was a leader for our Local Church Youth Outreach in Myrtle Beach. From there I assisted the camp director in getting a summer camp ready for kids with special needs. That fall I went to Colorado and worked as a youth intern at Denver Rescue Mission.
2014
I was still at Denver Rescue Mission until the summer. Then in the fall I worked with Companion Services where I hung out with and aided veterans in North Chicago.
2015
It is the year of mystery and Forgiveness. As I continued to serve as a youth leader in the late winter I was given the opportunity to go on a couple of missions trips to New York City and Oklahoma. After which I moved to Estes Park, Colorado where I continued being a missionary. I served as a concierge at a hotel while serving at a bible study. This year I learned not everyone who believes in Christ has a kind heart. I am blessed to be in the same place where it all started 10 years ago at Rocky Mountain Getaway.
2016
The year of endurance was probably the toughest year of my life. I grew through very tough things. However I learned not to share my whole heart with everyone I meet. I also learned how to truly be all things to all people. God is so good and was with me through it all. My character grew more than it ever did and I became the man of God I was called to be.
2017
In contrast to 2016, I was in the year of epic fellowship. I started the year doing ministry in New Zealand and Cambodia. I absolutely loved the consistent fellowship. I felt like the first believers in Acts 2:42. Now I await to see what comes next.

I believe that it is extremely important to surround yourself with a consistent group of believers that you can pour into and who can in turn pour into you. For example when I worked with the Denver Rescue Mission I had such a strong connection with my coworkers and that strengthened me immensely.
